The Rideshare Cliff: SpaceX Closes Smallsat Launch Access Beyond 2028
SpaceX has stopped booking new Transporter and Bandwagon rideshare payloads beyond 2028, and commercial Falcon 9 service ends with it. OED models the replacement capacity vehicle by vehicle: 53 t of nameplate supply in 2029 against 29 t of demand, but only about 32 t credible once readiness and reliability are priced in, with 61 percent of that nameplate resting on rockets that have never flown.
